Process of making

For world aids day we want to make something to interacts with the public, something to make them stop and think.. and make them part with their cash. We need to make something eye catching, accessible and informative. We spent a a lot of time brainstorming ideas and going over and over concepts..

Eventually we decided on centering our concept on the red ribbons that symbolise aids day. We decided to create a visual chain of how many people were supporting our cause and donating. We're going to make large ribbon-shaped boards that have velcroed to them red ribbons. When someone donates we're going to take off a ribbon and tie these together, to create a visual chain of support. Underneath the ribbons we're going to have facts/stats about aids that will be gradually revealed throughout the day as more people donate.
So we got making..

We wanted a simple way to show people our this blog, so they can see our finished result of our film and our process we went through to make it for Aids day. So we've made ribbon wrist bands with the website attached... 220 so far!
